Arizona Coyotes lay out plan for north Phoenix arena

The Arizona Coyotes aren't winning over any new fans with their social media strategy in the wake of the increasing rumors and speculation about the team's possible relocation to Salt Lake City.

And they might be losing some of their current ones.

The team's posts on social media have been met with disdain amid the chatter surrounding the team potentially moving to Utah next season, chatter that reached a fever pitch amid a report Thursday that the NHL had a version of the 2024-25 regular season schedule for the team with them playing at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, the home of the Utah Jazz, and not at ASU's Mullett Arena in Tempe, the team's current home as it tries to secure a new arena in Arizona.

In the last day, some particular posts have particularly drawn some fans' ire, led by a hype video that had the caption: "Committed to keeping Coyotes Hockey in the desert & building an arena in Phoenix."
