Football Tracker: Dortmund host Bayern in Der Klassiker as Arsenal travel to West Ham

After a hectic few days of European action, there are plenty of huge domestic matches this weekend as teams look to gain valuable momentum ahead of the busy festive period.

18:42 CET - First blood to Arsenal in their game against West Ham as an unmarked Gabriel heads in a Bukayo Saka corner to give them an 11th-minute lead.

18:30 CET - Time for two big games across Europe as Borussia Dortmund host Bayern Munich in Der Klassiker and West Ham welcome Arsenal for a London derby.

18:20 CET - Over the Serie A, where the mist has descended over the San Siro for AC Milan's clash with Empoli. But that hasn't stopped the hosts from taking the lead, Alvaro Morata firing home from close range in the 18th minute.

18:17 CET - It's been a tough stretch for Rennes in recent weeks with three straight losses, but they look to be heading to all three points against St Etienne in Ligue 1, with Amine Gouiri netting their third of the game eight minutes into the second half.

It was the Algerian's first goal for the club since the opening day of the season - drought over.

18:10 CET - All over between two of LaLiga's embattled sides near the foot of the table as Alaves and Leganes share the spoils in a 1-1 draw.

17:51 CET - It is all over in the Premier League's 16:00 CET kick-offs. And as is so often the case in the Premier League, we have been treated to plenty of goals! The standout result comes from Bournemouth thrashing Wolves 4-2 in a masterclass of attacking football from the visitors.

Elsewhere, Ruud van Nistelrooy lost his first game as Leicester coach 4-1 at home to Brentford in a rude awakening to life at the Foxes. He will have much to do as he gets to work with his side.

16:10 CET - The Premier League is underway for the afternoon! Three early goals see Bournemouth 2-1 ahead away to Wolves in a crazy start to that one, otherwise, it remains 0-0 across the grounds.

15:55 CET - The first shock of the weekend and third winless LaLiga game in a row for Barcelona.

Hansi Flick's side have been plagued by injury problems but their losses to sides near the bottom of the league will be a concern to Flick. The three points for Las Palmas open the door for Real Madrid to go top of LaLiga if they win their two games in hand. Does anyone want to win this title?

15:40 CET - Over to the Bundesliga and Wolfsburg have made a fast start against third-placed RB Leipzig as they have raced into a 2-0 lead inside the first 10 minutes!

15:35 CET - Despite drawing level through on-fire Raphinha, Barcelona are behind again against Las Palmas as Fabio Silva restores the visitors' lead!

15:25 CET - Into the final half-hour in Catalonia and it's Las Palmas who have taken a shock lead against Barcelona thanks to a brilliant strike from Sandro Ramirez.

15:13 CET - We've got four matches in the Premier League to look forward to at 16:00 CET this afternoon, including Newcastle's trip to Crystal Palace.
